HealthStrategix consultants are physicians who take the time to counsel clients about new or changing complex medical conditions that may be treated by multiple physician specialist, therapists, or other health care providers. Some information may seem conflicting from multiple doctors. We are here to clarify and reassure you.

Meet Dr. Tabu Terrell, M.D.

For 14 years, I practiced Emergency Medicine, the specialty where you see every kind of patient, every kind of diagnosis, and every kind of fear. Night after night, I met patients who came to the emergency department not because they had an emergency, but because they had questions no one had time to answer.

I saw firsthand that most doctors are dedicated professionals working under real constraints, 15-minute visits, complex insurance requirements, and panels of hundreds of patients. They simply don't have the time to sit with a patient for an hour and walk through every question. That gap stayed with me.

I built HealthStrategix to fill it, not to replace your doctors, but to make sure you get the most out of every appointment with them.

Outside of Medicine

A neighbor, a partner, and a small-business owner.

Outside of medicine, I’m also a husband, a father, and the co-owner of a neighborhood craft brewery. Building a small business alongside my family has taught me that trust is earned one honest conversation at a time — the same principle I bring to every patient I work with.

I’m active in my local community and believe healthcare works best when it feels human. When we sit down together, you’re not a chart or a diagnosis code. You’re a person with a story, a family, and a life you’re trying to protect.
