I’m a physician, but more importantly, I’m someone who understands how overwhelming the healthcare system can feel when you’re on the patient side of it.

My path hasn’t been typical, and that’s exactly what makes me a better advocate for the people I serve.

I trained at the University of Illinois, attended medical school at Vanderbilt University, and completed my Emergency Medicine residency at Indiana University. I then spent 14 years as a board-certified Emergency Physician, helping people through some of the most urgent and stressful moments of their lives.

But along the way, I started to feel the tension between what patients truly need, and how the healthcare system often operates. Too often, care felt rushed, impersonal, and focused more on efficiency and profit, than understanding.

So I stepped away.

During that time, I built a business from the ground up as a craft brewery owner, and later became a full-time stay-at-home dad. Both experiences changed me in important ways. They taught me how to listen more deeply, how to communicate clearly, and how to focus on what really matters to people.

Now, I’ve returned to medicine with a renewed purpose: to help patients feel informed, supported, and confident in their care.

I know what it’s like to leave a doctor’s appointment with more questions than answers. I know how frustrating it is to feel like just another number in a system that moves too fast.

That’s where I come in.

As an Emergency Medicine physician, I’m trained to quickly understand complex situations, coordinate with multiple specialists, and help people make difficult decisions—often under pressure. But just as importantly, I know how to slow things down when it matters most, meet you where you are, and make sure you truly understand your options.

My role is simple: to be in your corner, helping you navigate the system with clarity, confidence, and care.
